YTA Mission
As the strongest voice for Ysleta employees today, YTA will unite, organize and empower public education advocates to shape public education in Ysleta ISD thus providing a quality public school for every child.
Ysleta Teachers Association (YTA) is oldest and largest professional organization for Ysleta ISD employees and is affiliated with Texas State Teachers Association (TSTA), which has been advocating for Texas Public School Since 1880, and National Education Association (NEA), which has crusaded for the rights of educators and children since 1857 along with its 3.2 million members.
